Insanity Workout Schedule & PDF Calendar

If you have spent any time researching health and fitness routines, you have most likely heard of the Insanity workout program. Insanity is a fast-paced and challenging workout that focuses on cardio and strength training. The great benefit to Insanity is that even though workouts are intense, they are relatively simple and straight-forward. Workouts can be completed in the comfort of your home, making the Insanity workout program an incredibly attractive fitness routine.

Although Insanity is designed to be completed at home, that doesn’t mean that participants are left without guidance. In fact, much of the Insanity workout program can make each member feel as if they have their own personal trainer, even right in their living room.

One of the greatest aspects of adding the Insanity workout review to your routine is that you have interactive, dynamic coaching to help you along the way. Not only are you coached in real-time as you complete each video exercise, but customers are also provided a workout schedule and calendar.

Insanity Workout Schedule

The workout schedule and calendar help consumers achieve optimum results from their Insanity program. While the program itself is designed to challenge muscle growth and development continuously, following the detailed calendar workout schedule offers expert guidance and direction towards weight loss and strength training.

Though the Insanity package comes along with a wall calendar version, the Insanity workout schedule and calendar is available for easy download in PDF form.

Brief Overview of the Insanity Program

The Insanity program strives to provide a high-quality, gym level that can be achieved in the comfort as your home workout for diabetes. As far as fitness programs go, Insanity uses simple principles to create dynamic, complex results. The basic principles of Insanity include:

  • Max Interval Training

Interval training means that you won’t be keeping your heart rate at a constant pace, elevating it from time to time to decrease plateaus and force your body to work harder. Insanity workouts take this training method to a new level, creating intense intervals for 3 to 5- minute time spans, with only small breaks. This means that your body is always challenged, and forced to adapt to higher limits and higher heart rates.

  • Dynamic Exercise Routines

Insanity focuses on building muscle and promoting weight loss through increased strength and cardiovascular endurance. This comes through a rapidly changing series of workouts. While the cardio routines and the strength routines may work towards the same goal, each DVD section employs multiple means to get there. Muscle groups are always challenged and therefore, strength and endurance are constantly growing.

What Workouts Are Included in the Calendar?

Structured as a 2-month program, the entire schedule spans 60 days and provides a detailed guide of which Insanity video workouts to complete on a daily basis. Each month comes with “rest” days, “recovery” weeks, and even a “fit test” to measure weekly and monthly progress. Each week is specifically structured to build upon existing strength, and promote additional improvement.

For example, the first month of the Insanity workout schedule includes:

  • Days 1-7:

After the first 28 days, the Insanity workout schedule suggests taking a week to recover, assigning Core Cardio & Balance for a total of 7 days.

While the first month rests heavily on cardiovascular exercises, the calendar schedule allows for enough variation to avoid getting bored, as well as to avoid hitting a plateau. With a constantly changing back-to-back schedule, these cardio workouts are specifically put together to enhance results, creating accelerated muscle growth and weight loss.

The second calendar month utilizes the same principles of variation and challenge but applies it to the second section of Insanity. This means adding four new workouts designed to build upon the original workout: Max Interval Circuit, Max Interval Plyo, Max Cardio Conditioning, and Max Recovery.

Conclusion

The Insanity workout schedule and PDF calendar offer an enhanced workout, with expert guidance to find the best exercise routine. On its own, Insanity is a dynamic and challenging fitness routine. With the workout schedule and calendar, Insanity is an unstoppable and life-changing workout program, designed with extreme results in mind for each and every participant.

  1. This is almost like having your own personal trainer! How cool! I am shocked I haven’t read about this one yet. I am not sure that I like most of the focus to be on cardio but it seems to work for many others out there.
